While I cook dinner

So update time... since I have to yet update ever.

This year school has gone crazy on my ass. 13-15 hour days, 7 days a week. Finally I've gotten a break and am going back to a normal life schedule.

As for preparing for Zambia:
- school papers filled out (check!)
- visa application done (check!)
- Tickets bought (check!)
- any idea of what will happen.....
- hours spent thinking about packing (check!)
- packing done......
- cleaning my apartment for subletter (half checkish)

Clearly I have lots to do- including everything I left off this list, final assignments, retreat planning for September and birthday-ness.

The Positive Approach

So- New Approach to blogging:

I have decided to use this blog to write about getting ready, organizing, and going crazy before my practicum and for updating everyone while on my adventures during my practicum.

A little news update since very few people know what is going on right now!

For my masters I have a three to four month practicum in the summer(2010) as well as a four to six month practicum next winter (2011). For my first practicum I have started looking into working in Zambia. I am still working on the details and will keep this blog updates with preparation notes, organizing madness, packing tips and then finally my practicum updates! If it works well I will continue to use this for my second practicum as well and wherever else it takes me after.
